Shoulder-surfing

Shoulder-surfing is a fraud technique practiced near ATMs and other payment terminals where consumers enter PIN numbers. Shoulder-surfers lurk nearby when consumers enter a PIN number, watch surreptitiously and make note of the codes entered into terminals. They use the numbers to steal access to, and then drain, bank accounts.
