What is Improve?

When and where will Improve take place?
Improve will take place on Tuesday, November 10th from 8am-5pm at the Exploratorium at Pier 15 in San Francisco.

What airport should I fly into?
San Francisco International Airport [SFO] is the closest and most convenient option, located roughly 15 miles south of the Exploratorium. Other options include Oakland International Airport (OAK), located 20 miles away across the Bay or San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC), located 50 miles south.
Is parking available at the venue?
The Exploratorium doesn’t have an on-site garage. There are multiple public parking garages located near or along the Embarcadero within a short walking distance.
What are the best public transportation options?
The Exploratorium is easily accessible via public transit:
- BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit): Take BART to Embarcadero Station. From there, it’s a 10-15 mile walk north along the Embarcadero to Pier 15 or you can ride the historic Muni F-Market streetcar heading north
- San Francisco Ferry: If traveling from Oakland, Alameda, Vallejo or Marin, take the Ferry directly to the San Francisco Ferry Building. Pier 15 is a flat, 10-minute walk north along the Embarcadero
- Muni F-line Historic Streetcar: Take the Muni and disembark right in front of the Exploratorium at the Embarcadero and Green St stop
