To address increasing cyberattacks and ransomware attacks, the US government recently announced that it plans to work with BigTech on new cybersecurity guidelines. Prove CEO Rodger Desai joined Cheddar News to talk about the need for cross-industry cooperation to shore up cyber defenses.
"Data that’s being taken from companies is being weaponized against common consumers to siphon out bank accounts and take people’s crypto in an effort to bring our economy to a halt. It's vital that we work together across industries, specifically the banks, phone companies, insurance providers, and healthcare providers, to solve these problems," said Desai.
