Prove Identity Hosts UK Digital Identity Thought Leadership Event with Telefónica, Experian, Consult Hyperion and Sekura

Digital identity, authentication, and technology leaders from around the United Kingdom joined Prove at the historic City of London Club in November to discuss the future of digital identity and how current technologies can be applied to solve today’s authentication and fraud challenges.

Hosted by Prove’s CEO Rodger Desai and master of ceremonies Bianca Lopes, the program featured notable identity and fraud thought leaders including international keynote speaker and digital identity expert David Birch of Consult Hyperion; Glyn Povah, Global Product Development at Telefónica; Eliza Wyman, Product Director at Experian; Keiron Dalton, Chief Product Officer at Sekura Mobile Intelligence; Mary Ann Miller, Fraud & Cybercrime Executive Advisor at Prove; and Tim Brown, Global Identity Officer at Prove.

Guests participated in lively discussions about reusable identity, self-sovereign identity, the future of multi-factor authentication, and passwordless technology before breaking for networking over canapés and cocktails.

Glyn Povah, Global Product Development Director, Telefónica Tech, said: “It was great to address real business problems during the discussion and reflect on industry and consumer trends. Virgin Media O2 Business together with Telefónica Tech were happy to share some of the next generation technology they are bringing to market with digital identity leaders like Prove, including our new passwordless authentication service, Number Verify, delivering multiple benefits for businesses and consumers.”

“An understanding of digital identity is crucial as our lives become digital,” said David Birch. “Consult Hyperion was delighted to be able to support Prove in creating an open forum for professionals to learn from experts in an easy, digestible, and (frankly) fun environment. I really enjoyed the discussion sessions where people shared their real use cases and explained how they are moving forwards.”
